Hands-on history fun! Each month focuses on a different topic and features living history demonstrations, hands-on children’s activities, and an old-fashioned, one-room schoolhouse lesson! These informative and educational events have something of interest to visitors of all ages.
Did you know that while candles have been used for light for thousands of years, candle technology has changed very little over time. Join the Historical Society for a history lesson on candle technology and try your hand at crafting your own candles. Participants will make modern versions of historic dipped and molded candles, customized to each individual participant!
